How Joint Pain Begins
- Joint pain begins with “wear and tear” caused by the ongoing breakdown and loss of joint cartilage
- The joints inability to cushion the bones vanishes, ensuing mild inflammation
- The bones that are under the cartilage thicken, regularly forming spurs of bone that stick out into the joints
- Spurs cause more distress to the joint resulting in aches and pains
- Most common joint pain affects knees, hips, spine and hands
How Common Is Joint Pain?
- Joint Paint affects just about one in 10 people in Canada and the USA, with many people developing some form of joint pain after the age of 45.
- Joint Pain also known as arthritis is one of the for the most part a serious chronic health concern, second only to heart disease as a cause of work disability.
- Joint Pain limits daily activates such as dressing, bathing, and walking for over 7 million Americans.
- Baby boomers are now at the leading risk for joint pain. More then half those affected by joint pain are under the age of 65.
- Half of those Americans with joint pain don’t believe anything can be done to help or heal their condition. Are you one of them?
What Are The Warning Signs?
The following are frequent joint pain symptoms:
- The following are frequent joint pain symptoms:
- Stiffness, joint pain, and swelling that continues longer than two weeks
- Stiffness that occurs after periods of immobility or inactivity, such as or sitting or sleeping
- Joints that ache following activity are early signs of inflammation
- A feeling of "grating" when the joint is being used.
- Characteristically the grating comes on gradually, concerning the vicinity around the joints. Consult your chiropractor or other health care provider if you have continual joint pain, inflexibility, swelling or stiffness that lasts for more than two weeks. The quicker joint pain symptoms are diagnosed the improved your probability of curbing the disease's development.
- If your joints feel hot and tender or your joints are red, you most likely have a situation other than rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. Your chiropractor or health professional can provide you with an analysis and assist with you to develop a joint pain treatment plan.
How Does Joint Pain Progress?
Damage to the joints progresses slowly and may result in several problems.
- Harm to the joints advances gradually and might result in a number of problems.
- Pain may occur particularly when moving a joint. Grating or a grinding sound as the abraded cartilage at the ends of the bones rubs together.
- Feeling stiff, inflexible and/or sore, predominantly after resting, swelling and bumps may emerge, particularly on the fingers and feet.
- All these modifications can make it hard to move around and complete each day tasks such as opening jars, getting dressed, or climbing stairs.
What Causes Joint Pain Symptoms?
-
Inflammation is the body's natural reaction to being injured and is distinguished by swelling, redness, heat and pain. When joints become reddened, inflamed or swollen you may experience any or all of these joint pain symptoms. Inflammation can avert the ordinary use of the joint and cause it to lose the capability to function appropriately.
-
The solution to reducing joint pain, and to stopping joint pain progression through treatment, is controlling the inflammation that precedes the condition. Recovery with Nutricol was developed to control joint pain indications; it works by slowing down and reversing the inflammatory process.
Indications
Considerable anti-inflammatory benefits point toward Recovery™ as a primary option in the managing of chronic inflammation and to accelerate post-trauma rehabilitation.
aging, autoimmunity, arthritis (osteo & rheumatoid), bursitis, back pain, diabetes, eczema, fibromyalgia, fasciitis (most common cause of heel pain), osteoporosis, psoriasis, trauma rehabilitation, tendinitis, wound healing
The capacity to diminish the break down of cell structures related with trauma, suffering and degenerative syndromes is what gives Recovery™ a superb wide-range indication profile. Further research for the treatment and management of chronic skin, respiratory, gastrointestinal, and autoimmune conditions are being evaluated by clinicians for the its effectiveness.
Pathophysiology
Trauma, Disease and Catabolism
In the utilization of oxygen by the body, it manufactures an extremely reactive “exhaust” that is destructive to the cells. The reactive molecules in this exhaust are generally referred to as reactive oxygen species (ROS) or “free radicals”. Whereas some free radicals take part in a required function in the metabolic process, an excess of them is thought by many researchers to be a most important cause of cell obliteration, degenerative disease, inflammation, and aging.
Among the diseases accredited to enlarged free radical action are arthritis, digestive diseases, heart disease, liver disease, diabetes, cancers, cataracts, macular degeneration (age-related vision loss), auto-immune disease and breathing conditions.
Larger cell production of free radical activity (known as ROS) is connected to nearly all degenerative conditions including heart disease, cancer, arthritis, liver disease, periodontal disease, cataracts, diabetes, macular degeneration, autoimmunity, gastrointestinal diseases, and asthma.
Free radical activity act in response with cells setting off chain reactions that result in tissue damage causing spasm, pain, inflammation, and disease.
Some very effective antioxidants such as alpha lipoic acid, Coenzyme Q10, anti-catabolic enzymes, NADH (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) and such as superoxide dismutase, glutathione peroxidase, and catalase reduce the harm due to free radicals. Healthy young cells produce greater quantities of protective and defensive substances.
Disease and Aging cause reduced cell production of protective compounds leading to amplified damage to cell membranes; unavoidably, harm to membranes decreases cellular capability to repair damaged tissue.
Membrane and extra-cellular matrix harm leads to diminished best first-intention healing involving parenchyma (the tissue of an organ).
Cell damage leads to:
- Dehydration results in Failure of Cell Function
Production of long chain glycosaminoglycans (GAG’s) diminishes and shorter chain GAG’s increase, consequently dehydration of tissue occurs and failure of membrane function - Membrane Receptivity to Growth Factors is lost
Desensitizes cell membrane to growth factors (insulin, somatomedins, etc.) essential for cell communication, repair, protection, and maintenance - Break down of Tissue
Deposits of greatly glycosylated, inflexible and compacted collagen types V and VI - Poor Ability to Heal
Increased granulomatous (term associated to nodular inflammatory lesions) second intention healing involving stromal elements (progress of scar tissue) resultant in loss of cell/tissue function
Consequences:
This leads to increased tendency for the following:
• Bruising,
• Excessive inflammation,
• Spasm
• Joint stiffness,
• Digestive abnormalities,
• Respiratory distress
Note: Insulin acts as a major transporter to deliver amino acids, glucose, hormones, fatty acids, vitamins and other elements into the cell so that the cell can manufacture necessary elements required for tissue repair.

Site of Action
Nutricol™ entrenches in the cell membrane and in the matrix of the tissue.
Mechanism of Action
The noteworthy water and fat soluble antioxidant benefits of Nutricol® turn out the following anti-inflammatory and anti-catabolic effects:
- Nutricol® Stabilizes collagen aldimine reducible cross-links to support, improves the strength and elasticity of connective tissues such as bone, cartilage, tendons, ligaments, fascia, synovium, dermis of the skin and the blood vessel walls.
- Nutricol® Neutralizes free radicals(ROS reactive oxygen species ) and catholic enzymes lessening their harmful impact on cellular and extra-cellular structure and purpose: this progresses membrane receptivity to one of the master growth factors such as somatomedins, insulin, and thyroxin essential for anabolic restoreation and cell maintenance.
- Nutricol® Diminishes surplus production of substances that are catabolic such as elastase, hyaluronidase, collagenase, NOS, TNF, and xanthine oxidase; these substances are released from microbial, immune and damaged cells resulting in harm to connective and epithelial tissue, resulting in and creating inflammation, joint pain, capillary fragility and other soft-tissue destruction.
- Nutricol® Prevents the discharge of inflammation promoters such as serine, histamine, prostaglandins, proteases, and leukotrienes by non-competitively inhibiting the release of the pro-inflammatory enzymes lipoxygenase, cyclo-oxygenase, and phosphodiesterase.
- Nutricol® Increases and improves protective epithelial mucosal surface integrity (respiratory, digestive, & genitourinary tract).
